Australia’s last defeat at Gabba was in 1988, West Indies.
After that, they played 31 matches at Gabba and won 24 of them,

the highest scorer for India in the 4th test.

Ajinkya Rahane, was magnificent, smashing the Australian bowlers to all corners of the ground,
and scored a superb 112 of 223 balls, and became a successful Captain of the Indian team.
India, in the 1st test match, makes a Bad Defeat, after All, out at 36, but they bounced back and,
won the second test match. This was one of the lowest test scores in Indian history.
India Won the Test and the T20 and retained the Border- Gavaskar Trophy whereas Australia Won the ODI.
D. Warner got injured and couldn’t play till the 3rd test came in.
R. Sharma had got in since the 3rd test and played 26 runs and lead India for a match draw.
Rishabh Pant had been in a great form.
He scored a good-looking 89 and lead India to Victory after the fall of other Batsman.
Steve Smith was struggling throughout the first and second tests but did a great
comeback for the third and fourth test matches.
J. Bumrah was in great form, then Siraj replaced Bumrah, and proved he contributed
greatly as a team and was the highest wicket-taker for India in the tour.
N. Lyon played his 200th wicket in the test.
C. Pujara scored 6,111 on the test.
Indian team proved that they are one of the best teams in the cricket world,
and this put them all in the 3rd place rank.
W.Pucovski scored 62 on his debut and was one of the highest scorers in the tests tour for Australia.
