India pulls off a historical cricket victory over Australia in Brisbane !!!

  2. 2nd ODI – Australia beat India, won by 51 runs, and lead the series 2-0

  3. 3rd ODI – India beat Australia, won by 13 runs, and trail the series 2-1

  1. 1st T20 – India beat Australia by 11 runs and Lead the Series 1-0

  2. 2nd T20 – India beat Australia, Won by 6 wickets, and lead the series 2-0

  3. 3rd T20 – Australia beat India, Won by 12 runs, and trail the series 2-1

  4. T20 Summary – India Won the T20 series 2-1

Test series

  1. 1st Test, Adelaide – India 244 & 36, Australia 191 & 93/2, Australia Won by 8 wickets and lead the series 1-0

  2. 2nd Test, Melbourne – India 326 and 70/2, Australia 195 200, India Won by 8 wickets, and Draw series at 1-1

  3. 3rd Test, Sydney – India 244 and 334/5, Australia 338 & 312, Match is drawn. Series at 1-1

  4. 4th Test, Brisbane – India 336 and 329/7, Australia 369 and 294, India won by 3 wickets and win the series by 2-1

The series was in fact awesome, lets read the Quick facts from the Series

Australia’s last defeat at Gabba was in 1988, West Indies.

After that, they played 31 matches at Gabba and won 24 of them,

and the match draw count was 7 times.

This streak was broken by 32-year-old Indian Batsman Shubman Gill,

who scored 45 runs on his debut and continued to score until he became,

the highest scorer for India in the 4th test.

  1. Batsman Rishabh Pant 23 & 89*(not out) in the Fourth and final test.

  2. The fortress has been breached by Indians,  and Australia lost its streak of 32 years!

  3. Mohammed Siraj on debut took 2 wickets for 40 runs, also took a five-wicket haul at Brisbane.

  4. C Pujara had about 8 Injuries during the 4th match but still played a fabulous 2nd innings of 56 runs of 211 balls.

  5. Ajinkya Rahane, was magnificent, smashing the Australian bowlers to all corners of the ground,

  6. and scored a superb 112 of 223 balls, and became a successful Captain of the Indian team.

  7. India, in the 1st test match, makes a Bad Defeat, after All, out at 36, but they bounced back and,

  8. won the second test match. This was one of the lowest test scores in Indian history.

  9. India Won the Test and the T20 and retained the Border- Gavaskar Trophy whereas Australia Won the ODI.

  10. D. Warner got injured and couldn’t play till the 3rd test came in.

  11. R. Sharma had got in since the 3rd test and played 26 runs and lead India for a match draw.

  12. Rishabh Pant had been in a great form.

  13. He scored a good-looking 89 and lead India to Victory after the fall of other Batsman.

  14. Steve Smith was struggling throughout the first and second tests but did a great

  15. comeback for the third and fourth test matches.

  16. J. Bumrah was in great form, then Siraj replaced Bumrah, and proved he contributed

  17. greatly as a team and was the highest wicket-taker for India in the tour. 

  18. N. Lyon played his 200th wicket in the test.

  19. C. Pujara scored 6,111 on the test.

  20. Indian team proved that they are one of the best teams in the cricket world,

  21. and this put them all in the 3rd place rank.

  22. W.Pucovski scored 62 on his debut and was one of the highest scorers in the tests tour for Australia.
